why & how change work works:

Here’s a fact: Human minds change all. the. time. You don’t usually notice, because it’s largely happening in the unconscious part of your brain. Worse: Your conscious mind will tell you a completely different story – one of change being hard, difficult and lengthy.

Not only does that make total sense, because change has to be accomplished in the unconscious mind rather than the conscious, so how would the conscious know?

But we ALSO give our conscious musings FAR more weight than the unconscious, literally because they first ones are conscious. Aka we are trapped in our own (again, conscious) minds by function of being humans.

So in our own brain, the leap from “this habit feels incredibly entrenched and big” to “it must take forever to change it” is short and sems very logical.

For better or worse, this is not the case.

Worse because we can have SUCH a hard time to actually believe and trust that it is possible, and better, because change can be fast and lasting, given the right tools and support. I’ll get to how the change work intensive offers you exactly this kind of support structure, but first a bit more about the process itself:

In change work, we take your WHOLE brain into account. We access the unconscious mind with a few different tools, for example queuing in on your physical signals. Or working with metaphors and images, in which the unconscious often speaks. All of that to find the lever hidden in the unconscious part of your mind responsible for the habit you want to change. Once we have that, we actually anchor the change you want right where it originates. Once you feel you get it in the moment, we will make sure you can practice “in real life”, which is just as vital for the process.

this is your support structure:

  • I offer a package of 3 change sessions for you that is optimised for lasting change: We start with the foundational work to get to the core of the habit change. Then you have time to practice and repeat, because that will a) help you solidify what you got and b) reveal different aspects and layers. All of those we will address in the follow-up calls.
  • We prepare with a questionnaire to go into our work with a clear intention, hitting the ground running.
  • We laser focus on the change you want and need during our three conversations together.
  • We back it up with unlimited email / chat support to ensure you know what to practice – no more than 24hrs response time.

important note: it’s called intensive for a reason

Even if you think this sounds really good, you might wonder if it really is for you. And this is a good question to ask, because I want you to be a wholehearted yes.

I’ll be honest with you: The Intensive is intense, indeed. It’s just a few hours we spend together, so we’re going to cut to the chase and look at things that are potentially confronting. This is how:

While we won’t touch on deep-seated trauma and perform therapy-like healing, because I am only a coach and not trained to deal with this, having unconscious workings out in the light can bring up shame. “Why didn’t I see this before?”

Also, I will always make sure and remind you that you can set your own boundaries in the process and say no to things, including every single one of my reflections. Yes, the process is designed to bring out what needs addressing, but ultimately, it’s about you. YOU determine the depth and amount of stretch you can be with. There is NO GOOD ever in ignoring your own nervous system and the boundaries you need to feel sufficiently safe.

There also is a questionnaire and me checking in with you via email leading up to the intensive to make sure we both feel good about doing this intensive together. Again: I want you to be wholeheartedly and full-body IN, because that’s the first step to creating something with your unconscious on board.

who is your coach?

First things first: This is not a small feat – thinking about a change work intensive without knowing your coach well or at all. Even if you might have followed me on my email list or socials for a while. So – don’t hesitate to book a 30min call to get all your questions answered. And a “no” after has just as much space as a “yes” – no awkward selling here.

Second, here’s a bit more about me (and my journey to change work): I’m a huge fan of solid, deep work – and the fact that I offer a Change Work Intensive like this one is actually pretty radical. I had entered that training with disbelief – and then, I saw people change in front of my eyes. I was both worked on and I supported others to change next, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Especially because yes, it does touch on vulnerable stuff, but it has so much space for lightness and laughter. And I for one LOVE to combine the tough stuff with play and fun. You’re definitely in the right place if you want to feel (almost) like friends with your coach.

Other than that, I think it’s actually cool that even if the change work is a bit different… (sometimes I think it’s more like brain training honestly!) … it still serves me (and you!) that I’ve had years of intense training and my own healing under my belt for this endeavour. It is really important to me that you know this: One of my top skills I developed over the years is to take myself out of the equation. I will not insert my agenda, but I am here for YOU and what YOU want.

frequently asked questions

What’s the difference from therapy?

This is really important to mention. I have never gotten closer to something having as healing an effect as change work, and yet: It is not therapy and I don’t treat. Working with adjacent patterns, yes, but I am not trained or otherwise equipped to treat diagnoses.
As a coach, I cannot and don’t promise or even focus on healing. It can happen, but there is no guarantee whatsoever and it’s not the main goal. This is why we make sure you have the therapeutic backing if necessary before we dive into change work.

How can I be sure that this is for me?

For one, listen to your gut. Listen to your desire. Is this intensive something you really want? Do you want to get rid of habits that keep hampering your leadership* potential? Habits that unnecessarily take away from the enjoyable parts – or make the hard parts harder of what you do? (*not just in the context of work – don’t forget that you lead your LIFE!)

Plus, the whole process is set up in a way that makes sure that your needs are met and your capacity is centered.

When do we start & end and what times are calls?

We will do some work leading up to the Intensive, like you filling the questionnaire and exchanging a few emails to make sure we hit the ground running once we have the first call. The pre-work comes as a bonus – the “official” month together you pay for begins with the first of the three live 60min sessions that are included in this package. After that you have one month of VIP access (see next question, too).

We will book at least one of the follow-up sessions within this month, sometimes both, depending on the work you choose. Important: You have to book one of the 2
follow-up session within the month for this work to be effective. You can book the third call within 6 months after purchase when it best suits you (I will give you a recommendation based on our work together but it’s your choice within those 6 months).

The cost of The Change Work Intensive is 1400$ and it includes:
